wizardworld_p_logoThe team behind the Philadelphia Comic Con has released the official schedule with all panel dates, including the Firefly panel with Summer, Adam and Jewel (probably also Gina Torres since she has been recently added to the guest list as a replacement for Nathan).

The panel will be held in the TERRACE BALLROOM 4, from 5:00 – 5:45pm on Saturday. Check out the complete schedule for a list of all panel dates and the floor map, so that you know where to go.

From the official schedule:

Even series cancelation can’t keep a great sci-fi-western story down. Join three members from the fan beloved series, Firefly in this special Q&A.
After celebrating the show’s 10th Anniversary, find out what the stars have in store for the next ten. (TERRACE BALLROOM 4)

If you haven’t bought a ticket yet and maybe want to visit the convention. You can still get VIP tickets for Summer and the Firefly gang on the official website, as well as photos with all of them here. I’m sure the group photos will be sold out very fast, so you better get them while they’re available. As always, try to get as soon as possible to Summer’s booth. And of course, send us some impressions from the convention if you want. :)

For the Philly fans, Nathan Fillion cancelling might turn out to be a blessing in disguise. From some of the comments I’ve been reading about Ottawa Comic Con, it sounds like Gillian Anderson and Nathan Fillion were the ones requesting that people not take pictures of them, which I guess would explain the sign outside the FIrefly panel that said no pictures or video.

Luckily, we only believe in hard facts. 😀

Don’t get me wrong, I’m not trying to disparage Nathan Fillion. I like him. That was just what I was told. Other people mentioned they had no problem taking pictures of people like Kevin Sorbo and Nicholas Brendon. Take it for what it is, I guess…

Don’t worry, I just wanted to tease you. 😀 Personally I like it when taking pictures is forbidden. Or at least allowed only without flash.

I like taking pictures. They make nice mementos for after. When me and my buddy got back from FanExpo, I asked my mom if she could put together a scrapbook with the pictures we took. She’s really into scrapbooking and arts and crafts. It’s a nice thing to have. I take it out every now and again and flip through and remember some of the stories.

However, I totally agree about the flash, and unfortunately, there are still so many people who use the flash. All you have to do is put yourself in the shoes of the celebrities. Would you like having a bright light go off in your face all day long? Especially when you consider they have to put up with the flash for photo-ops. I definitely don’t have a problem with them not allowing flash photography.

Thanks Norman. :)

Summer and Nathan’s schedule needs to be better aligned so that they can collaborate on a possible guest spot for Summer on Castle or an entirely new show. Adam and Gina did a great job when given the opportunity and I am very sure that Summer will do great as well. :) Summer’s recent starring guest role in H50 speaks volumes about her God given talents.
