  Considering that about 80% of all the FHM readers probably never heard of Terminator SCC or Firefly before the 16th place is very impressive. Summer Glau isn’t one of those bikini models, who pose on every second FHM cover, nor did she star in any of those famous and totally overrated popcorn movie blockbusters.

  And I really wonder, who today still believes Britney Spears is supposed to be sexy… lol.

  Whatever, Summer is my #1 and that’s all what matters for me. ;P

  I noticed John’s comment about whether or not the top 15 could act. I sometimes thought about Jessica Alba in comparsion to Summer. They will each turn age 28 in the next few months. Alba has thus far much more exposure and many more film roles, but Summer is a far better actress, and has not been the diva that Alba has sometimes appeared to be.

I don’t know whether Summer is on that list, but Kate Winslet was number one, Audrey Hepburn on 2 and Scarlet Johanson on 3… Sorry, but compared to Summer Kate and Scarlet look absolutely expressionless. Only Audrey on 2nd is allright. My personal list by the way is: Summer Glau 1st, Jennifer Love Hewitt 2nd, and Sandra Bullock 3rd. But I have to say that place 2 and 3 are far away from number one.

  Nothing in this world can be compared to Summer. She’s my absolute and eternal #1.

  In fact, there’s no “#1″ on my list, just because there’s no list, she’s the only one. For me, when Summer shows up, it’s like the rest of the women in the whole planet wouldn’t exist anymore or suddenly vanish into the air (no offense to the women here, but this is absolutely true for me). No-one compares to Summer Glau.

  Not sure if I should be glad or upset about this list. On the one hand, I hate those lists and ‘top 10’s’, they treat all women alike and to the same level. Like, when they put Summer in the same top 20 with mean and talantless women… But on the other hand I still was happy to see Summer so high on this list, it can only mean that she is recognized more widely, not only by Firefly and SCC fans. I mean, for me Summer was love at first sight, when I saw her on Angel, I saw something in her that I haven’t ever seen in anyone else, something special about her that just blew me away. So for me she’ll always be the first of every possible list.

  2nd. Summer position is okay I wouldn’t call her that sexy (she is, but I think or her it’s the wrong word), but beautiful, graceful, cute, adorable . In a list with the cutest smile she can’t be less than number 1.

  where exactly on the website does it actually say that Summer is no.16? As OneAngryV says, it only seems to show the Top 10. These lists are indeed ridiculous, but I’ll admit I’m curious to see if I’ve heard of any of the other 90 women that they don’t appear to have listed.

  btw, FHM is a UK magazine (they have different national versions, including a US online version), which would explain why the lead singer of Girls Aloud is no.1. Has anybody outside Britain heard of Cheryl Cole? (believe me, many of us inside Britain wish we hadn’t…)

  Ah, makes economic sense for FHM I guess – thanks for listing them Cristelle. And as suspected, I haven’t heard of half of them! Although I can confirm that of those I have heard of (aside from the usual suspects such as Angelina etc) there are several British ‘glamour’ (ie, nude) models, various UK footballers’ wives, more members of Girls Aloud, and a kids’ tv show presenter (no.34).

  Obviously, it’s all subjective, and given FHM’s readership, the people who voted are likely to be men under the age of 25, which is reflected in the result (although no.98 is a very attractive British newsreader who is over 40, which is a nice surprise). Given that T:TSCC isn’t as huge over here as it is in the states, it’s nice to see Summer so high up. (But yes, she should definitely have been higher -and i agree about Britney… dear God, what were they thinking?)

  No kidding, i’m always glad to see Summer ’s name appear in my daylife, i just hope she will be given lots of interesting role , and that i will get my weekly dose of Summerness etc (so by the way, a big thank you to this awesome website)…
  But let’s face the truth, i’d rather not see summer in top of that kind of list. To understand me, just take a look at the top of every chart, musical, movie, or this so intelligent sexy chart we’re discussing about. Products on the top ranks are just products. They’ve been calculated and manufactured to draw the largest fan group they could. Speaking about music, it’s always some boring stuff we’ve heard so many times, nothing too new or original not to loose a part of the buyers. For sexy women or starlets ,it’s the same “Smile like that, have a seethrough top, do something to have your cover in the tabloid…” And so on. Just look the top ranks… They are not women or actress or singers anymore, they are just products, plastic dolls, is it because they worked hard to be that way or because the media made them look that way i don’t know.
  But i really do prefar to see Summer staying with the real people…
