More info on Dollhouse

Here are more info on what’s to come, with thanks to Norman for sending me the link.
The Watcher has a nice article on the upcoming episodes of Dollhouse, including some interesting parts about our favourite girl:
In a canny move, however, “The Public Eye” does acknowledge, to some extent, that things at the Los Angeles Dollhouse are quite often careening almost out of control. But there’s a bigger story at work. And the scenes with Summer Glau introduce a new layer of delightful weirdness to the show. No doubt the message boards will be lighting up with theories and conjecture about her character, Bennett.

The role sounds fun

Well, when Joss said he won’t bring in Summer unless he’ll find a compelling character for her to play, he wasn’t kidding.
I’m now almost literally dying to see the episodes. Nine more days to go…

This has comments from Summer and Joss about her role on Dollhouse. I just have to paste this because it amuses me no end ..
SPOILER ALERT
“very sweet and calm and elegant, kind of shy, kind of adorable, possibly evil, but that doesn’t matter.”
So umm .. you know apart from the ‘evil’ bit that almost sounds kinda like Summer Glau herself. So she’s basically playing someone a bit like herself only evil and weird? Not exactly a huge acting stretch for her

It seems the wait may be a little longer than 9 days.
I can’t say I’m at all surprised, but the (currently still unofficial) buzz is that Fox have definitely decided to pull Dollhouse during November sweeps and show double episodes in December instead.
And so far it seems that includes pulling Summer’s first appearance on the 30th.

No Summer until December 4th unfortunately. On the positive side, it was pretty much inevitable that it would be pulled during November, the only question really was would they show “The Public Eye” first, thus effectively splitting a two-parter.
This way at least both Summer’s episode’s will be shown back to back on the same night.
