Summer At Chicago Comic Con

Wonderful news for all fans who couldn’t be at the Philadelphia Comic Con. Summer will attend the Chicago Comic Con that is held at Donald E Stephens Convention Center from August 8-11. Summer will appear on Saturday and Sunday. Her Firefly colleagues Morena Baccarin and Alan Tudyk will also be at the convention.

Like at the Philadelphia Comic Con, you can get a VIP ticket for $225 for Summer, which is recommended. She had an extreme long queue at the convention in Philadelphia and with the VIP ticket you can enter the convention earlier and get a speed pass for autograph and photo session, as well as a free photo, autograph and other fancy things. You can get the ticket here. If you want the full Firefly experience. You can get the Firefly VIP ticket for $374.99 here Of course there also regular tickets available which you can order here.

4-Day Weekend Ticket: — $90.00
Thursday 1-Day Ticket: — $40.00

Summer will be signing autographs and doing photo ops at her booth again. An autograph as well as a photo op ticket costs $40 and the latter you can order here. Note that you can also get a photo will the whole gang (Summer, Alan and Morena) for $125.

We are sure that there will be a Firefly panel, but currently the programming schedule is not up. But of course we will keep you updated.

Philadelphia Comic Con – Day 2 Images

The Philadelphia Comic Con is coming to its end and from what we’ve read, everyone had a great time meeting Summer. It also looks like that her queue for autographs and photos was the longest. Anyway, it’s the same procedure as yesterday and so the gallery will be updated with new images when they arrive. Enjoy the pictures of and with Summer from her second day at the convention.

Philadelphia Comic Con – Panel Impressions

Besides the autograph and photo sessions there was also the Firefly panel wit Summer, Jewel, Adam and Gina. There are several small clips from the panel online where they talk about how the story could have continued especially for their characters, their stunt doubles and more. Adam also starts singing Happy Birthday for Jewel. Check out the videos below.

Philadelphia Comic Con – Day 1 Images

The third day at the Philadelphia Comic Con has started and so Summer’s first day as well. People visit photo and autograph booths, lining up for the panels…and the first images of Summer are up. So check them out and come back later as we add more to the gallery over the day. There is also a panel with Gina, Adam, Jewel and Summer today, so we hope we can get a few glimpses or maybe the whole video from the panel.

Update: First day is over and from what we have read, Summer’s queues were extreme long and she even stayed after the con was closed, but unfortunately not everyone was able to get his autograph or photo. So for tomorrow, make sure to get to her booth as early as possible.

Summer Supports Wind Energy

Yes you heard right. Summer supports renewable energy. For the 175th Anniversary of the Texas Revolution (back in 2011), director Michael Cerny has shot a film series of 21 small Texas history clips. Check out the video below where Summer – who is a San Antonio native – celebrates the development of Wind energy in Texas.

Ottawa Comic Con – Panel Video

The people from conjunkie have recorded the Firefly panel with Nathan and Jewel. The panel video also includes the short skype call from Summer where she apologizes for not being able to attend the convention. You can find the call at 13:22.

Even though she couldn’t make it to the con, she tries to get to the one in Montreal in September. Next stop will be the Philadelphia Comic Con. So don’t miss it if you are able to go.

Peter Panzerfaust Motion Comic Trailer

With one day late, the motion comic trailer for Peter Panzerfaust finally arrived. Unfortunately it doesn’t have much talking, but we get a short glimpse of Summer’s performance and the character (Wendy) she voices. Check out the trailer below.

Actually, the trailer was supposed to air yesterday with the release of the motion comic today. So far there are no words on a release for today, but we will hope that it comes out soon.
