Superman/Batman Apocalypse Screening

There will be 2 free screening events of Superman/Batman Apocalypse at the Paley Centers in Los Angeles and New York, on September 21st and 23rd.
After the Screening will be a Q&A with the filmmakers and members of the voice cast who will be announced when they are confirmed.

Tuesday, September 21, Paley Center in Los Angeles (465 North Beverly Drive in Beverly Hills)
5.30 p.m media interviews
7.00 p.m screening

Thursday, September 23, Paley Center in New York City (25 West 52nd Street)
5.00 p.m media interviews
6:30 p.m. screening

Tickets will be distributed on a “first come, first served” basis. That means, if you want to have a ticket for the LA event,
simply RSVP via mail to SupermanBatmanLA@gmail.com.
For the NY event to SupermanBatmanNY@gmail.com.

FanExpo: Day 1 Roundup

Here is a small roundup from day 1 of the FanExpo:

On the Q&A she talked about the opportunity to explore “robot jealousy” when Riley came along on season 2 of The Sarah Connor Chronicles and that it was also much fun to break things. She also told the audience that she auditioned for the role as pink power ranger once. When it came to Firefly she talked about how it was on the set of the show and that it was Nathan Fillion who started the use of “Summer” as profanity on Firefly and other series. She also spoke about her favorite acting experience as far as personal growth where she also mentioned her new movie Knights of Badassdom.

One note to her autograph session. The queue was extreme long, so if you want an autograph, you should get there asap tomorrow.

LOHG movie completed

“The Legend of Hell’s Gate: An American Conspiracy” has finally reached the status completed. Next step is the distribution process. Hopefully it won’t take much time so that we can see it soon. Besides the good news there is also a sad one. Actor Marcos Akiaten who played Moghey in the movie passed away. Our thoughts go out to his family and friends.

Summer’s new film Knights of Badassdom has now an official website that you can find here: http://www.knightsofbadassdom.com/

There’s also a twitter account: @badassdom_movie

In other news, it’s been announced that Bear McCreary will be scoring the music for the film. He previously worked on The Sarah Connor Chronicles and will also be writting for Summer’s new series The Cape.

The film currently filming in Spokane, Whashington is in its final week of shooting and should be done filming by the end of the week after ~80 days. Most actors are already on their way home and an early wrap-party was held on the 15th.

Here’s what film director Joe Lynch had to say:

Practically everyone was there, spirits were high and flowing, some of the cast premiered a music video they made with Summer’s BF Cooper (a hell of a great guy and a fantastic photographer to boot) & our EPK Mike (see you on the Special Features, guys!) and then we ripped into Karaoke (I blasted out a Knights of Badassdom Remix of Tenacious D’s Wonderboy) before I had to head home a bit early to help Remy hit the hay. Im sure many will be feeling it Sunday, but Im glad everyone was having a good time and hope they partied well into the early hours of Sunday.
