OK a question I pose to you guys is how do you find someone that doesn't want to be found and yet do it quickly.

Its for a story am writing and I have no idea how the female lead will track down the male lead, but he's living off the radar a bit like Rambo at the start of Rambo 2.

Any real suggestions welcome.

The easier way to find someone is to track the credit card, computer (gps chip or ip address) or phone. Keep a close watch on the family/friends.

Your guy, where does he get his food from, medication or mail (that could all be tracked down). Or maybe his house has electricity or he pays his taxes.

Sorry I haven’t seen Rambo so I don’t know where he lives… hope this helps

Wow am blown away, that was a really thought out answer, when I saw your name next to this i thought you were gonna tell me I was being a bad boy and not to post anything so silly again. I am happy to see that is not the case. You should watch a Rambo move first two films. First Blood and Rambo first blood part two are the best.

I found a way of tracing him down, it came to me late last night. Thanks for your input but please keep them coming.

I think the best way to keep your readers interested is to show them some original way, which is based on your leading character personality. Maybe I would insert some hidden hints inside of his habits and private life. Also it could be the only way if your female investigator has been limited in her technical and position abilities.
I'm not sure if it will help, it's just from my experience.

I've written a few on Supernatural, Stargate, Without a Trace. But I don't have that much free-time anymore and the website takes most of it.

I would really like to write a book or something one day, I have lots of ideas and notes written down in notebooks, but no time for it.

I know that feeling. I have dozens of ideas but working on diploma work and studying for exams is too time-consuming :(

Amen it takes of almost all of my time as well as my creative juices which is sad and I too have lots of ideas written down and I hope one day I manage to write at least one book.

I don't know what's harder. To write a book or find a publisher?
I guess it's equal.
