Good Morning everyone,

I´m Malfurion (Mal) from Germany and i work in the social area. My interests among other things are SiFi/Fantasy (Films, Series, Games, Books), instrumental (not classic) music, mmorpgs and of course one incredible woman: Summer Glau!

I watched tons of SiFi films and series but a few month ago there was something new: TSCC.
A friend of mine warmly recommend TSCC to me so i buy it and watch it for the first time. Then i watched it again and again (at last 4-5 times).
I could not remember that a show make such a big dent to me than TSCC. While seeing it Cameron become my favourite character of the show. Summer Glau does such a great job here... nearly perfect.
I search for other roles of her and find... Firefly! RIVER TAM!
There are no words to describe the effect of Firefly (and also Serenity)... It´s just awesome. What Summer has created in this show... It baffles description. I do not know how often i see her work now, but in almost 15 years watching SiFi this was the first time i was stunned of a show respectively an actress.
When i read about Summer online and look for her fans i found this page. I learn much about her and she writed that she avoided the internet (Also i understand her decision). So i wonder to find a place which "Messages from Summer".
I think she is a very sensitive person, so i´m glad of her protective and very polite fans in here. This is very special and one reason i myself go on this site. Cristelle and Norman: Great work! I search for a site to read and write about Summer with other fans without negative or stupid request to speak. And here we go.
Summer has touched my life in a way that i could not really describe. I am simply happy she´s out there and play-act on her particular kind - this is really art.

I am like you in that I only discovered Summer Glau earlier this year. Reading your introduction was like reading my own story. For the last six months, I have been on a binge of watching Summer's performances in TSCC, Firefly, Serenity, and others.

I just fell in love with Summer Glau's performances and I think she is one of the best actresses working today. I found the library of video clips on this site very helpful. There are also lots of transcripts of various interviews that she has given. And of course, Norman and Cristelle offer constant updates of news on Summer. Last but not least, the people who post on this site have really added to my enjoyment as they have shared information that I might not otherwise have found. In particular, one thing that I have learned is that there is a lot of interesting fan fiction on fanfiction.net. Two of the many authors there have written continuations of TSCC (River2027 and 1Russter).

@Alex: I agree with you, but sometimes it is difficult to find words for Summer because she is so unique!
And yes the fanfic are incredible. It´s much fun to read those every time.

Nice introduction and it's pleasant to see that due to whether Firefly first and TSCC then or the contrary, Summer made a stunning impression with her outstanding acting performance.

There are a lot of good fanfics and these two are the best continuations of the show IMO. The1Russter is very talented writer and he put all his heart in his fiction. He deeply revamped and completed it this year.

I've written a small 6-chapter fiction too, published on fanfiction.net too. Nothing to see with these two, it's a study of Cameron's feelings as she takes part to a very human event. It's called The Prom.

Thank you Mal. I'm glad you liked my fiction. Cameron is a very interesting character and her duality is always a source of inspiration. A tribute to Summer's work too, as I always imagined her acting the scenes I wrote, she would have done it brilliantly.
