ok
I have decided to put time into making a song for summer.

first of al : it must be someting special. So I have decides not make a rock version or something like that. It must be something pure. So ... the piano. a slow song...

mmm...lyrics are gonna be hard to make up.
therefore all experiences with summer can post you here.

I have also already written a small bit music. I will post it tomorrow and then you can give some feedback.
jef (srry for my bad english)

Why not...

To give you an example, this is a french song (listen to the music) that would have been suitable for a "Cameron" (character) dedicated video:

Do you want to go on something so sad or something more "shiny" for the real Summer ? :)

It's played on a midi keyboard in logic pro so sound isn't yet 100% correct.

Question? Is it to sad?

I think it sounds pretty good so far.

It is a bit on the sad side, but I wouldnt say too much so. It really depends on what you want the feeling of the song to be and how your lyrics combine with it.

I think its nice. You could say a bit sad but I would rather call it emotional. Also it can evolve getting some warmer sounds in it while it progresses. And ofc lyrics can make a big difference as well.

This is a good beginning!
The song could continue with light guitars or violins.

I think it's not too sad. It's only the slow beginning of the song. You should let the song a little bit rising after this section. Maybe with easy percussion. But this depends on the lyrics.

I think this should be a shiny, happy ballad with which we could give her the warm emotions back that she gives to us.

I'm thinking about lyrics already. I'll write them in german first and try to translate them senseful and fitted to sing.
I don't know if I could get my friend from Hannover, who sang many of my songs, to sing this song. He's very busy with his own music career. But I'll try. Maybe he has a good idea, too.

What would you say, should be the singer male or better female?
This has a big influence in writing the song itself and what message it has to say.

If you ask me , i would prefer a female voice.
But i think it also depends on the context of the song.

OK, I think I have a backup in this way, too. It's hard but I'll try to get a female voice too. I cannot promise something, because they are very busy professionals. I hope they do us the favour.

Maybe the germans here know them.
Male singer: Thorsten Wingenfelder
Female singer: Kim Sanders
