Even though there are relatively few of us from the U.S.... is anyone going to the Firefly/Serenity convention in November?

I live in L.A :). I will be attending the Firefly convention in Nov. No need for hotel too, I live like 30min away from the airport :D.

Going gold too!!! Woohoo. I hope it'll be a memorable experience.

I'll be going gold as well. I'd like to have the money to bid on a backstage pass on eBay. They had 5 last year starting at $500ea. You can't get one unless you have a gold pass.

I still don't know the exact method of getting out there. I've been checking on flights with Southwest, but they're not yet taking reservations for November.

There's pretty much only one good thing about living in L.A.....conventions all over the place.
