Tell us what does your forum username mean, or the other usernames you use on the net and how did you come to use that username and what does it mean?

To start off.

My username " Shinigamiboi "
The word shinigami means Death God and it is from Japanese pop culture and i had encountered that word in an anime called Bleach. I have had that username for about 4 years now and i kept to it

Sometimes i use 'stekke' as a username, that's my reallife nickname.

My username is ... my nickname in fact !

In France, Virginie (my name) can be cut for "nini" or "vivi"

like
nick => nicholas
Boby => Robert
ect ...

But, I don't like "nini" .. it's too ... childish for me ...

So I decided to create my own nickname ^^

"nini" becomes "ninou"

My family call me like that, my friends too ... ^^

I've created my username "Ugly_Kid_Joe" specially for this forum:

Joe like an "average Joe".
Kid, because i don't see me as an adult. ( )
Ugly... you guessed.


And I've heard about this kind of nickname before, I don't remember.
Just checked: seems to be a former Heavy Metal music group, but I did not chose it for that.

Well, my nick Kirirur is just the first name of the dwarf Kirirur Throndemir son of Khir paladine of Tyr.

My favourite band is Oasis and Liam Gallagher (vocal) is the man! so i used it
And fox, it's kind of my nick name called by my friends
And x.....in some forums " Liamfox" has been used by somebody else so i added an x after it

err well its just my name without a space. I've used different nick's before either based on Mr Garibaldi (Babylon 5) or Brennan Mulwray (Mutant X) because I liked both characters. But then you usually end up using numbers and it gets confusing and hard to remember the right numbers after a while if you're on various forums and sites. So I thought I would use my actual name for a change and that nick is prolly still available.

I was just listening to Korn's "Thoughtless" when I signed up

I came up with galaxydome back around 1998 or so. We had just gotten this AOL dialup service and I had to come up with an email address for hotmail. I didn't want to use any numbers cuz I thought that would be too troublesome to remember so I tried to think of two words I could put together that no one would really think of. Back then I was interested in outer space, NASA, shuttles and the like, as well as the structural integrity and simplicity of the dome shape as it was applied to many buildings as well as the VW bug. Thus I came up with Galaxydome, a unique username that I was sure no one else would ever think of using. Since then I've just kinda used galaxydome for my standard username for everything. Its kinda interesting though that the two words kinda fit into my two major's of study, Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering.
