There is the Cylon attack for fans of Battlestar Galactica and Firefly, but Summer is not in the list.
Next year is the T2 in June for fans of Chuck, Terminator and Firefly.

They've announced the 2nd convention. It's a Star Trek Grand Slam...should be good. I'm getting my ticket. :)

They've also updated the Serenity convention. Adam and Morena are scheduled.

The gold ticket for Serenity costs $60 more than that of Star Trek... Is this saying that Serenity is more popular? :)

Serenity/FF gold tickets can enter the Trek convention as well so I guess that's the reason for the extra 60 bucks. It's pretty expensive tho, at least in my oppinion. However if anyone's going I hope you have a great time!

It works both ways. Those who purchase the gold tickets for the Star Trek convention can also get into the Serenity convention. But, getting in is not guaranteed as you will only get general admission access on a space-permitting basis. What would be awesome and quite possibly, insanely expensive would be a ticket that allows gold access to both, maybe a "platinum" ticket. Of course, one could pay $698 for single gold tickets to both. :) All autographs would be free, but photo ops are $50 each. That could get expensive, but I don't really plan to get photos with everyone.

A few hundred dollars to fly to Britain plus over a hundred to get a passport? Nein Nein Nein....

How much were the photos at T1? You gotta figure the exchange rate... £1 = $1.51, so $50 is approximately £33

Today...

You don't know what will be the exchange rate in future, even if there is good reason to think that dollar is going to fall against euro again in next months (but what about pounds ?). :D

Yeah I know about tickets and exchange rate. And 100$ for passport?! Damn, Uncle Sam doesn't want you leavin' the country, does he?

Was just joking, but even if that price of 50$ includes autograph it's still expensive. Pics with the guests at T1 were 13 Pound with Zach, Summer, Adam (the main guests) and 10 pund for the rest I think. Not sure if some of the dollhouse guests weren't 13 as well. That did not include an autograph, but a badger (extra autograph on personal item such as a photo) costs 10 pund so it still makes 23 pund for a picture and autograph.

I suppose it also depends on what the guests were paid simply to attend. Maybe the autographs and photo ops are the main source of income in the U.S.

I placed my order for a gold ticket...waiting on confirmation. :)
