Just thought of a interesting way to bring her back at will. An "Under Ground Railroad"
for non hostile Alphas with abilities both side want. Non hostile in that they don't want a
fight between Alphas and mundanes not that they wouldn't defend them selfs. Dr. Rosen
could make the suggestion on Gary's phone, *Voice work now and then* Skylar could take
a few episodes to decide. As she didn't tell anybody where she went she would have to
come pickup the Alphas to be hidden. *Full on appearances*

Interesting idea but would this mean that she would set up a camp where these sheltered Alphas would end up? I suppose it would have to be in Canada (yay!) and of course the Alphas would need support. You could have a small community of Alphas all working away on a communal farm.

I think underlying your suggestion is a growing awareness of the team and Rosen that they really cannot trust their agency or other government agencies for safe, reasonable treatment. At any time, they can be detained or otherwise forced to do things they do not want. Sklyar may develop a safe haven that the Alpha team could need in the future. I like your idea.

No camp. Find a town or small city that has a booming industry. *there are still a few
places that have them* Buy or build a grocery store, a gas station, a restaurant or two
and a hotel. A couple of dozen legitimate jobs. Low profile but hide in plain sight.

Sounds a bit like the plot for Eureka. Who cares - Summer for mayor!

The producer and show runner of Alphas, Ira Steven Behr, has been replaced by the former producer and show runner of Eureka, Bruce Miller.

:D

I really want to see her in roles where she is able to portray more complex characters. I think she is due to play another villain, something complex and conflicted like Bennet or Crystal.

Watched Summer's episode again this afternoon.

Having seen The Cape and most of Alphas, part of me wishes Summer had been cast in Alphas instead. I love Orwell, and I thought she could've been one of Summer's best characters if she'd received proper writing, but Alphas is just such a superior show. The writing is better, the pace is more fluid, the characters are interesting and well developed. I could see this show lasting a few seasons.

But even though she likely won't be back, it was still a great guest spot. She did fantastic. I love how she immerses herself in each role and makes the character real and unique. And it isn't just her appearance. It's her voice, mannerisms, attitude. I also liked how she played such a pivotal role. In this episode you could see the team going a bit more rogue, and she also helped Bill (indirectly) with his issues regarding fatherhood. Great episode. :)

Yes Alphas is a good show. My favorite show to see her in would be The Wire. But yeah that one is over.

I just finished the first video of her ECCC panel, and she confirmed that she's returning to Alphas. I said from the beginning that if she returned, there'd have to be a good reason since she went through hell to hide her daughter and she'd be putting her at risk again. So I do hope they come up with a plausible explanation.

That said, I'm so excited! This is the type of show she needs to be on. If they can figure out a plausible way to make her a recurring character, that'd be awesome! :D

i started watching Alphas this week and i just finished watching episode 7, Catch and Release. i am liking the series. it's like a cross between Heroes and X-Men.
Summer's character Skylar Adams was quite interesting. her look is pretty different to anything i've seen her in before. and it was a bit distracting at first. i was trying to work out the tattoos on her arm, neck and other places. but after a few minutes i gave up on that. i enjoyed this episode. and her daughter in the show being a second generation alpha. i think that could be a major story arc if the series continues beyond season 2.
the brain for "Bob" was very interesting to me. i immediately thought of a Terminator's CPU. and how it could be Skynet. i know, i know, this isn't TSCC, but it was so similar.
i wonder what Skylar will be like in season 2 if she returns?
