This link refers to an interview of Hart Hanson, one of the show runners for Bones. When he was asked what series he would like to reboot, he said he would like to take another shot at a Terminator series because he is now working with Josh Friedman as a consulting producer.

The way it is said, I'm not sure he would resume TSCC where it was left.

Honestly, closure of any kind would be great. Even if it was a few years after the series ended, as long as everything is wrapped up, I don't care.

I concur but I mean he would perhaps do a different story. He said "another whack to a Terminator series." Plus he doesn't speak about The Sarah Connor Chronicles. To me he seems more interested by the potential of the story than the existing show. On the other hand it's about rebooting the series and maybe Josh Friedman can convince him. Plus at Starfury, Thomas Dekker confirmed that all the actors would return.

True that there is no specific reference to a continuation of TSCC but certainly a continuation is not excluded. I think it was an off the cuff remark and I believe he is probably thinking along the same lines as Friedman. I think one of the things that Friedman did was to open up the possibilities for Terminator stories. And TSCC offers perhaps the best "vehicle" for a series which I gather is what they are talking about.

I think that one of the limitation of a movie is that there is a limited time to tell the story and I believe that the last few Terminator movies have not really provided the fans with enough information. My interest in this story is to see the ongoing struggle.

By the way, completely off topic but did you notice in one of the interviews for Alphas with the show runners that the comments of one of them eerily echoed the comments of Josh Friedman made several years about about TSCC? Friedman said that he did not want a terminator of the week and he made a humorous reference to the film My Dinner With Andre. The Alpha interview also made reference to these two things (no Alpha of the week and a reference to the film). You have to wonder what the influence of TSCC was on other producers and show creators.

May the TV Gods smile upon those who are toiling to put together a sequel to TSCC. :D

I agree, I would be too happy to have a proper closure to the show or better a continuation. It's true that the show opened up some perspective about the battle between humans and machines.
It was hinted right from T1 that the humans did win but they were very wise not to tell how. I don't know if they did on purpose. The main thing that TSCC brought IMHO is that the machine's psyche development was perhaps the key to the war.
"If a machine can understand the value of a life, maybe we could too."
What if a machine understands feelings and is able to fall in love? I really loved the direction the series was taking but maybe the average viewer didn't expect the series to be so subtle.
I'm with you for your prayer. :D

Cameron seemed to have Alison's memories or at least some of them. Not explained
but could be part of her malfunction. If Alison loved John, then by extension so did
Cameron when she chose to do so.

This is true and this is probably the main reason of her malfunction, but these memories are digital transcription of Allison's memories.
Maybe it's like creating a whole intellectual background but it's the machine who feels and loves. We don't know if Allison loved John but I'm quite sure Cameron learned to love John her own way.

You mean when she wasn't trying to kill him. "What was once there
is still there." Never mind, sounds like a normal relationship............ JK!
