When is it airing?

Yes lol better than illegal downloading! I was thinking also we could boost the search numbers on Google for The Cape - if everyone on this forum searches for The Cape on Google just like three times a day then it might increase public awareness of it. We could even have half an hour on one day that we organise where whoever wants to do it mass searches for The Cape, try and get it into the Top10 searches for that time! Just a suggestion to try and help Summer's show!

Edit: maybe Yahoo instead as that shows "trending topics" on its homepage..Google doesn't!

I don't want to get to much off topic here, but i doubt that it helps.
What counts are Nielsen ratings. Maybe also DVR and hulu/itunes/amazon numbers.
You have to get the average viewer and that won't happen with just getting the show up on google.

Since a lot of people here are not from the US there is not much we can do. They need to make money with the show. To do that they can sell the show to other channels like they did with CityTV in Canada. Or they make direct money with selling episodes on various platforms. The ratings itself are only an indicator for commercials, I guess. If people don't watch the show, they won't see the commercials, that means less money for the firms that bought these timeslots for their commercials.

We all know that this system of ratings is not appropriate anymore, with internet and DVR. But the channels still count on that. If they stick with their plan, I guess that many more shows will fail until they realize they need to change it.

It looks like The Cape is coming to the UK.

I was looking on the Sky website and setting up some of their ‘Never Miss’ notifications and searched for The Cape, and it found Season 1 and says its coming in 2011. Unfortunately there was no information as to which channel or exactly when. :roll:

That's great news for all the fans in the UK. Now I only hope Australia will follow suit as well.
