Just watched it (Norman posted a link to it on the main site). It was a great interview despite being so short. Summer was so nice and looked great as always :wub:

She also talks a bit about her voice acting as Super Girl and it looks like she had heaps of fun doing it.

If you think about it, it's also kind of funny because Keith David is standing right next to her and he has done voice acting before. So when the question of voice acting came up, I could almost hear his voice telling me get off the road before the BTR runs me over from Modern Warfare 2 :lol:

I didn't know that Keith David had such a long curriculum of voice acting roles (videogames, anime...)... I checked his filmography and it's really huge!

I was scanning the U.S. television guide and found something interesting. I'm hopeful it's accurate and don't want to spoil what it says, so take a look when you have time.

It won't spoil anything about the content of the series, so no worries there.

Yeah, I definitely knew it was from a while ago, but I thought they updated it to show that The Cape would be airing mid-season for 2010-2011. I didn't know if that had been established. I knew they showed part of the pilot, but I thought there was some uncertainty as to whether or not The Cape would air at all during the upcoming season and be pushed back to 2011-2012. It definitely looks like while see the show at some point within the next four to five months, which is terrific!

No problem.

For what I know, as soon as The Cape was announced it was scheduled for mid-season.

Just found a little article while surfing the news:

The Cape creator Thomas Wheeler has promised that the forthcoming superhero drama will feature a memorable lineup of villains.

He told SFX that he is keen for foes such as Scales (Vinnie Jones) to recur throughout the series.

"What I want to do is create a classic rogues' gallery, the kind [that] Spider-Man and Batman have," he explained. "We have great villains right now with Vinnie Jones and James Frain (Chess). That alone will keep us busy. But the goal is to over time earn your guys so you really want those characters to come back."

He added that the Cape's band of allies would also expand beyond investigative blogger Orwell (Summer Glau).

"Orwell's sort of a superhero herself," he admitted. "The two of them are going to be good partners. But in the distance, there are plans for other people, inspired by the Cape, to show up."

The Cape - which stars David Lyons as the titular hero - is expected to air on NBC during the 2010-2011 television season as a midseason replacement.

I'm very happy to read this. I've read lately the role was not going to be that big.
