You do deserve. I'm also trying myself at drawing, I know what is difficult to me and I really appreciate what you do. I observe what you do and perhaps learn a bit of it.
Since when do you draw?

This new pencil is softer or harder than the 4B or 8B you previously used? I find it perfect for shading.

hmm since when? technically.. since I was 7 or st. .. which means 9 years =D
when I was younger ( 7 - 11) I used to draw a lot =D .. but later on I began to be a bit lazy.. and for the past 2 years I was drawing almost nothing.. ( damn shame ) ..
however .. approximately 2 months ago I heard about Terminator 4 : Salvation... since I saw all of the previous films( when I was young) I decided to watch the 4th part.. So I downloaded all of them. However, before I started to watch the 4th I wanted to see some trailers... and accidentally somebody posted wrong trailer (I am so grateful =D ) .. because it was trailer which contained parts from TSCC .. and I saw Cameron there saying "I love you John and you love me .. "
I went crazy of it.. I wanted to watch the movie so badly.. so I did.. unfortunately .. Cameron wasn't there !!! I was furious.. I checked google and learnt about TSCC =D happy time =D.. and ever since I' am crazy about Summer , Cameron , Alison ... and so on =D ... and SHE brought me back to revisit my old passion.. drawing =D

ops =D about the pencil.. I think it's equal to 8B .. maybe a bit softer.. really good for shading =)

I also used to draw when I was much younger. But that's 30 years ago for me!
It's funny to see that Summer was beautiful and talented enough to touch both of us and revived an old passion of ours!

I will! I plan to send her one of my draws. If the one I'm currently making is good enough, then I'll send it.
Even if I'm demanding with myself about the quality of my work, my main goal is not really here. I would like to show her she's loved and inspiring at a level able to make a non-professional fan spend time and produce a quality draw of her.
From what you've told, you can well be in the same process if you wish.
We've all heard previously about how much she could be hurt by a negative comment. It maybe a little far fetched, but I wish to contribute proving to her how much the magic of her work and being can create love back to her.

Any manifestation of fan love (at the proper meaning, ie. show her she's doing right and providing unconditional support) is good for her and makes the contribution, assuming it's coming from the heart. The more diversity in the message, the stronger it is.

Of course it is. At the moment I wrote her twice, both the time I used my heart instead of my head (plus that's how I avoided the block while I was staring at the blank page the first time ).

My idea for a picture to send for her to sign is actually funny, but knowing her the little I know, I believe she'll love it
In my house, next to the pool, there are some very nice paintings, made by the mother of the previous owner.

Plus: the letter...since when I started to write the first words until the end stop, I worked on it for a bit more than 4 months!
Call me methodic or meticulous, but I always try to do my best in everything I do, specially when it comes to Summer

Just breaks my heart to imagine her sad because of negative reviews, it makes me feel a sort of "obligation" to make her feel better and happy again, make her not worry about these reviews, because they're not important. What's important is the qualities and this she has a lot!
I have lost count of how many times I was feeling down, discouraged, unhappy with anything whatsoever, and, looking at her photos, her smile, I felt light a spark within me, a force from the depths of my heart, as a beam of light rising from the dark hole into the clear sky, encouraging me to not stop, keep going!
It may seem exaggerated, but it's not. A person able to transmit that kind of feeling is more...much more than I can imagine. I don't know the proper word or expression to use now...she means a lot to me, she's one of the sources of light in my life.
