Season II Discussion (Spoiler Alert)

So what did everyone think of the new soon-to-be "Glau-Centric" Dollhouse?

I for one was a little lost at first that was until Amy acker started getting all Hudson-eqsue. She's a cute little thing. Eliza's acting has improved some and that fight scene in the airport was somewhat Glau-Centric. Plus there was an ad for Resse's dark chocolate which I've got to try ooh and one for TSCC Season Two DVD. All in all Not too bad plus the storyines are actually getting interesting not the same bland empty acting from dushku "Uhhhhm did I fall asleep?" I'm more and more interested in seeing at least a glimpse of Glau's new character.

....and yea I could see Summer doing the fight scene at the airport.

I think if the show was "virtual world" instead of reality it would have been a bit "the Matrix". 8-)

Heck I could actually see Summer as a "Doll"/agent, with the multi-ident (River/Cameron) thingy.. :geek:

Plus the ability to be a "martial artist", (Matrix) River/Cameron style.

Summer hmmmm, an eccentric programmer, it should be interesting and off the wall. :ugeek:

My interest is sparked, I'll be watching at least till episode 6. :mrgreen:

Yep, the series will sit well with our lady Summer, and Joss knows it. There is so much that can be done with her new character. (If tonight's episode is typical of a programmer's antics) (Topper{?}+ doctor/ex-doll) :lol:

I can't watch the ep. yet because i'm in Australia

... i just hope its on Hulu tomorrow .. I really want to see it. I've always been a big fan of Amy Acker too and from what i've read on Twitter she really knocks it out of the park with her performance in this episode.

Yeah She was pretty good. Hope i didn;t give too much away for ya. i don't think I did.
I think all I said was that it was similar to something Hudson leick would do.
No exact or graphic description... just that.

Ya know I have a feeling Summer might be playing the 'big bad' ie, the bad guy of season 2!
SPOILER ALERT!

The reason I think this is that the official description of her character is that she's an employee of another dollhouse (programmer) that shares a past with Echo, and I just watched an interview with Joss Whedon where he describes the new 'big bad' in exactly those words, "it's someone who shares a past with Echo". Unless there's another character on the show who knew Echo when she was still Caroline that could only mean it's Summer's character Bennett.

Well that would be interesting. I don't think we've ever seen Her as a bad guy before.

Since I haven't yet watched the first episode of the second season, I haven't yet fully read those reviews, but I thought was interesting for those that already watched Vows (I'll read your comments as soon as I'll watch the ep

Is Dollhouse supposed to be only about Echo? Watching the new opening credits, that's what I would assume. No one else was seen.
