Well, remember that Cameron is the last known model of Terminator. She's different. She has a lot of features that others don't. Just for a quick example she's able to eat (ok, throw somewhere some food) even if it seems that she don't need to do it to it to sustain her living tissue.

We know that Skynet is trying to defeat humans, we know that he's trying to improve his ""childrens"", perhaps he's trying to embed in them some sort of feelings in order not only to make them more able to blend in but also in order to think in a more unpredictible human way. In fact we see that a lot of time Terminators are unbusted by humans due to their highly predictable way to move.

Yeah kurirur. I agree they are advanced now, so Cameron does. I just remembered the moment of Cameron and John in the car when Cameron catching the wind with her hand, trying to explaing John thats she has feeling's too. Do you remember how she acting in the first episode in school? she was like human. She was programmed to do such things, but after she reached her goal, she became what she is - pretty advanced teminator with some kind of human emotions, trying to understand how to communicate to humans and how to be them. All what happened in school at first time was programmed. Yeahh, they aro cool at simulating emotions and we know that, but you see how Cameron interacting with John? She trying to understand him, go out of her "programmed" mind. So i believe, thats she can have some kind of feeling's, but i also suppose, thats she still haven't that kind of thing that ppl calling "emotions". She can't percieve things right sometimes and she trying to adapt, asking ppl around her - am i right? or else. It happend not ones during series.

A good example of what you said, IMHO: when she was refuelling the pickup after the school trouble...she apologized to John, for lying to him. A "normal" machine wouldn't do this. But, since he apologized to her before and maybe she did this only for trying to be more "human", maybe she wouldn't do this if he hadn't done before...but i still remain confused like before writing all of this

Well,by the way....If Cameron was my protector.I suppose she know "love"and she has feeling,she can feel anything and she will be happy,sad or angry(Sad for me because I was hurted by some machinese but angry for the machinese because they make me sad ) <-----I hope,just a joke

But I think I won`t look at her as my protect <----Be my sister (also a joke )

I was here, looking some Cameron vidcaps and started to put my neurons to work...all of us know she's a machine (much more than a machine, but still down deep...a machine)...

And i started to think about her reactions...AND, the million-dollar question just popped up on my mind:

How do you think she'd react about something that shows concern, care, love for her? I mean, imagine someone taking a shot to protect her, someone running danger to keep her safe...something we'd do for our families, for example...

How do you guys think she'd react? Do you think she'd express happiness for being treated as a human? Would she express "love" in her own way?

Hmm I think that at first she would show outside a quizzical look for the illogical behavior but, if that action would be made by someone important (like Sarah or John), I think that down deep she would probably starts some background process to analyze the situation until she'll be able to find the reason behind it.

Then I'm pretty sure she'll thanks for the gesture but also she'll express some concern about the safety of that person and she'll ask to stop doing that further in order to avoid that that person could be injured.

If the person doing that thing would be John I'm quite sure she'll starts some other process but I don't know if she'll tells to John what she feels, probably because she also isn't able to figure it out. I think she'll need time to understand herself first.

You mentioned John, there's a point i'd say about that in the question...i preferred not use him as an example, since she reacts differently to him...i made the question thinking about one of us as example, simple mortals
