I find river tam attractive. Period. What was I thinking?

I'm only gonna say this once... summer glau was 23 when she played River in Serenity. Her character was 17 years old... So what? Her character River also existed in a world where that kinda thing didn't even seem to matter. (They honored space hookers, for God's sake) so for all you guys who didn't find Summer Glau back in 2003 or 2005 attractive, well then, I feel sorry for you, but she Did have a very normal, down to earth, girl next door quality to her that made You want to say hi to her and possibly ask her out to dinner.... and She wouldn't turn You down either, seeing as how no other guy would approach her. (more for me I guess haha)

All Im saying is i looked up the credits on firefly Looked up her name and found out she was alot older than she looks. You guys who cant drool over river tam need to learn to look beyond the charcter and look at the acteress playing her. river kicked ass and she was cute.

and the point I'm trying to make here is... case just basically called sweet River "Jailbait"

"Could be because i'm twice the age the character is supposed to be"

I got your meaning Case... see if you like my explanation below:

Glau-coma: I loved the character River too, but I love Summer more. Mainly because Summer brings River to life and also so much more. River is just a piece of Summer, like Cameron is... I really admire the whole of Summer Glau, her acting, her persona onscreen, and her personality in real life. You know what I mean?

BTW, I miss both Cameron and River very much. It saddens me that we cannot see more of both of them.

I thinks you`ve got the wrong idea here laddie .As XScott very well explained you can not like River and dislike Summer because simply the one is part of the other.I liked Summer in 2003 .04 05 and ... and i think that is the case not only by me but in everyone here.She was the same cute nice person then.
Are believe that there are no members here that drool over River only,

So far from what I've seen I believe everyone here loves SUMMER GLAU the person. If you don't.........then why are you here :?:

I'm not entirely sure as to the point that Glau-Coma is trying to make, unless it's just that Summer was just as pretty in 2003 as she is now....if that's your point then I believe you're preaching to the choir, my friend.

All that being said:

I miss River Tam and the rest of Firefly :cry:
