Summer @ Starfury T1 in the UK

Just thought I'd start the topic since I found none already started. Well, like the announcement on the hompage says
"April 24, 2009 to April 26, 2009
Summer has just been added to the guest lists of Starfury’s T1 convention 24-26 April 2009 in Birmingham."

So anyone planning on going? Anyone ever been in such conventions before?
I'd love to go and I'll do my best to be there!

o yes i will be going well thats if i can still get tickets. this is going to be my first convention so cant wait

just throughing a qusetion out there does anyone know what is the difference between the normal and gold ticket

Well, by the end of January I'll know if I'm going or not. Maybe we can set some meeting there and get to see each other in person

And someone asked in the Sarah Connor society if that is true. Now I'm wondering if John had any source about what he posted. There is nothing in the convention homapage. Would be strange anyways to promote her so much and then not tell that she aint coming.

On side note she is hugely promoted, all posters they have about T1 have her in them. I guess they know now what ppl like.

I'm thinking that may have started because she cancelled last year's con in the UK (not too sure which one it was) that was around the same time (~April 11) due to the movie she was meant to be filming.

On that note, I wonder whatever happened to it? The con that announced her being there has apparently been rife with promoting guest stars who had no/little idea they were meant to be there, one being Nathan Fillion who said he had a scheduling conflict with a movie that never actually existed... not that I'm starting rumours here ;D

Well, the official Starfury site still has her on the poster and no info about her missing the convention. Also if I'm not mistaken she has participated in Firefly conventions for them before so I still hope she is going to the T1. But I've been afraid she might cancel ever since I decided I want to go. It would really suck if I travel all the way to the UK just to see her and she's not there.

Anyway, I just hope if she's not going they will announce it early enough. It's 4 monthis till the convention after all...

Only time will tell.
But if she can't go to T1 she maybe can't go to the Fedcon which is a few days later, either.
