Hi Nyrki I was going to send this message in French but it's almost 3am so it probably would not make any sense . In regards to learning French I started at eight years old my parents wanted me to learn as soon as possible so I had a french tutor and as far as school is concerned we started learning French in Grade 3 I think . I attended private schools from the age of 5 to 18 so I'm not sure about the Public Schools . That's so cool that you have a motor bike I'd love to ride around Paris that would be so awesome and don't worry I'm very careful riding in the city but when I'm in the country I like to open up to 130 mph it's almost like flying . I've been riding trial and dirt bikes since I was 13 so I'm a very experienced rider . I loved that you wrote the last part of your message in French as I must admit my French language skills have been a bit rusty so it's good to get some practice . Anyway must go I need to get some sleep . KZE

Ah! 3am and still on the forum. That's me too! Sometimes it's difficut for me to write intelligible English so late at night.
I didn't know that learning French was so spread in Canada. I only knew about Québec.
Yes, riding in Paris is incredible, despite the traffic jams. Riding down the Champs Elysées, especially at night is something special :o . I would be pleased to give you the opportunity to. According to your experience, you seem a far better rider than me. I never did trial and dirt track looks impressive, fast and furious!
"I like to open up to 130 mph it's almost like flying": lol, I knew Supergirl can fly!
Write in French when you're comfortable with it. For most people, speaking is easier than wrting a foreign language. ;)

Hi Nyrki It's just after 3am Tuesday don't know about yourself but I'm not the best sleeper so that's why probably seem to do so many posts at this time of day . As far as learning French is concerned I have family in Vancouver , Edmonton , Calgary and Winnipeg they all learnt to speak French at school . If I get back to Paris I'd love to get a chance to ride a motor bike around Paris and the rest of France and Europe for that matter that would be beyond awesome . Yes I'm very good rider and I should thank my Uncle for that because he is a brilliant motorbike rider and a great teacher . He also taught me how to use a gun which is also a handy skill to have and if Canada is ever invaded by an army of cans and bottles I'll be on the front line . As far as flying concerned I do fly a lot but it's in a plane and it's every fortnight to Vancouver to see my boyfriend ( Micheal ) who is a law student and other friends and family who live their . Anyway must go I'll do some study and then 5am gym work (home gym ) 6am ( 90 minute ) morning run and then get ready for UNI . That's my morning routine Monday to Friday so that care of yourself and I'll speak to you again soon . KZE PS I agree speaking French is far easier than writing otherwise this message would taken my about an hour to write .

I like the quiet of my bureau at night, mostly browsing the forum or reading TSCC fanfics. It relaxes me from work. I'm not sleeping that much, except on week-ends when I try to make up.
I really think you would enjoy the variety of roads and landscapes in western Europe and in particular in France. Beside Montreal, I went to Québec City and slightly further north to a big waterfall I didn't remember the name. The landscape was great and I assume there are many others, Canada is so wide.
It's sad that you can only see your BF every two weeks. I wish you could see him more frequently. Vancouver is west coast right? Man, that's far far away!
Kara, you really impress me. I know you take every chance to enjoy life which is good, but I wonder how you can do all these things! :o Nights seem short and mornings rather tonic! Either you're really Supergirl or Cameron's twin!
Je te souhaite une bonne journée et à bientôt.

Hi Nyrki It's just past 2am Wednesday I think the big water fall would be Niagara Falls but I could be wrong . Thanks for your kind words regarding my boyfriend and our situation I would fly to Vancouver every week if I could but I have so many other commitments so that's not possible . We email or text each everyday but it's not easy but we're been together for eight years since we were 13 so I'm doing everything in me power to keep our relationship going and yes Vancouver is on the west coast . I've done so many of these flights over the last two and half years that the flight attendants know me by name and they always ask are you going to see your boyfriend again . Flying is so boring that I usually spend the whole time studying . In answer to your question how to I do all these things well I only need about 4 or 5 hours sleep a night I don't watch much TV and I keep a diary of all my activities each day so it can be done. My friends think I'm either a cylon or I really am Kara Zor-El . If your interested these are other things I do ice skating , skiing , reading and playing and listening to music and I play social tennis . I used to play Junior Canadian Rep Tennis from the age of 8 to 18 . So really since the age of 8 I've know nothing different in regards to a heavy and busy workload and I drink about 10 cups of coffee a day that also helps . Plus I think I'm what they call an over achiever . Thank you for finishing with a sentence in French beautiful words from a class act . bonne niut et je vous parlerai bientot . les etreintes et les baisers . KZE PS If that last sentence doesn't make sense remember it's 3am .

I've never had the chance to see the Niagara falls. I wish I could have. I've searched on Google Maps, the falls I was talking about are Montmorency falls, a few miles north from Québec (the city). Much smaller, but impressive however.
Lol @ the attendants knowing you when you fly to Vancouver. I can imagine the flight is boring I think it lasts between 3 and 4 hours.
Yeah, I think you're an obvious over achiever. Cylon, lol, I could have added this on my list of explanations why you're supra-human! I hope the the 10 cups of coffee are more American-like than European.
You're practicing so much sport. It's good for your activity as model, but I imagine you enjoy it very much. I'm trying to jog on Sunday mornings, but winter coming doesn't help.
Hey, your French is good. You will soon pretend you're a native.

I made a small selection for your next tour of Paris on a motorbike.
Les Champs Elysées de nuit (avec les lumières de Noël). It's magic!

Les voies sur berge (on longe la Seine avec vue sur la tour Eiffel)

Have a nice ride! :D
I hope you will keep the image on your mind for the day.

Hi Nyrki It's just after 2am here in Toronto I believe it's called the witching hour thankyou so much for those two beautiful pictures of Paris I wish I could be there tomorrow . It reminded how amazing Paris is at night and what a great view you get from the Eiffel tower and it reminded me that I did my supergirl pose at night when I was 15 it is easily the best of 3 pictures as the other two were during the day . No wonder Paris is the city of lights listen to me carry on I'm such a girl . You would like Niagara Falls I guess as a local I take it for granted but it is an amazing site and I should have realized that you were referring to Montmorency Falls which is also very impressive . Flying to Vancouver is beyond boring it is a very long 3 to 4 hour flight at least I get some studying during the flight the things we do for love I guess . My friends and family keep threatening to send to OAA Over Achievers Anonymous I think their joking . Yes amongst my many nicknames my friends call me 7 as I nod to the cylons and they think I'm a 7 out of 10 . You'll pleased to know I'm having a cup of coffee as were speaking and I take it black with no sugar and yes it's American . I love love my sport and I like to be physical and active as much as possible yes it helps with my sports and promotions modeling and the fact I don't eat I wish joking about that part . I glad to see your excising as well I guess your extremely busy with your job and if you can only find some now and then it helps physically and mentally . Anyway must go as us Supergirls , Cylons and witches need to study before we take over your planet . souvenez-vous vivant est pour la vie KZE

I've been living near Paris for more than fifteen years now and I love driving in Paris, marvelling at the beautiful buildings we have. I'm glad I still can after all this time.
I'm sure the last time you came is recent enough for you to see the sparkling Eiffel tower.
Did you have the chance to visit the Palace of Versailles too, where Louis the fourteenth, the King of Kings lived? Definitely a must see as well.
OAA? Lol, maybe they're not joking...
7, the cylon? Haha, your friends really have imagination. And is that another nickname that fits you well in your opinion?
Yes, I'm very busy. I'm project director in a software company working in the lottery area (state and private lotteries, not casinos). I'm travelling abroad from time to time. This is how it led me to Canada (Québec) 5 or 6 times within the last three years. So it's an advantageous mental change when jogging, work is so time consuming and sometimes continue to affect you when you're home or on week-ends.

Hi Nyrki It's just after 3AM friday morning and for something different I'm packing my bags for my plane trip to Vancouver this afternoon and as a typical girl I'm packing far clothes than need for a weekend away. This Sunday is Halloween do you celebrate Halloween in France anyway just for something different I'm going as surprise surprise as Supergirl I'm like an actor I'm becoming typecast . Still Halloween is alot of fun and I will be staying with my Aunt and Uncle and taking their kids trick or treating which I'm looking forward to people might even mistake for a young MILF . You have lived in Paris for fifteen years how lucky are you and yes we did visit the Palace of Versailles it was very impressive and the thing I have loved about Europe in general is how have you maintained the old world and the history of your countries . As for my nickname 7 I actually think I'm an 8 at least that's what Michael says and yes a love my nicknames my friends have an interesting sense of humor. Your job sounds very interesting and no wonder your so busy and well paid I hope . Before I go do you have brothers or sisters ? I am an only child myself . Anyway I must go and finish my packing and I hope you have a great weekend . Hugs and Kisses your supergirl Kara

Hello Kara. It's nice you're leaving to see your BF. So we won't hear about you for 3 days I guess. Have a nice weekend. It's Halloween. They tried to introduce Halloween here in France something about 10 years ago, but they did it badly, they only took it from a commercial point of view, so after 5 or 6 years, it started fading away. I was once in Atlanta for Halloween back in 1998 and I saw how the people prepared and the children coming from house to house "Trick or treat". That was great, they did not promote this part enough in France. So as a consequence, we only have All Saints Day left for the period. Not very funny!
Yes, we have the chance to have a long history behind us, as well as the wisdom and means to maintain. I even know a medieval castle that looks like it was built last year. I love castles and we have visited many around Paris. If you're interested, I can send you some pictures of the most beautiful ones we've seen. During my last year as student I lived in Versailles, just border of the park. I've been going to the Palace numerous times since then.
I like my job, it's very interesting. I dealt with very various projects, they're all different. It's well paid. Enough not to question myself to go or not to go and see Summer in Starfury next year in London!
To answer your question, I have an elder brother. I would have loved to have a little sister, but fate wouldn't allow it. I hope you have a great weekend too in Vancouver. Greetings from Paris.
