Just a couple days left till its Christmas. Did anyone already bought all the presents or do you wait till the last day ? Are you a fan of this huge commercial Christmas or do you think its just to much ?

I definitely had enough from Christmas already 3 months ago, because you could already buy all the Christmas stuff.

Hi Norman - the fact that you are done three months in advance comes as no surprise. If you weren't well organized, this site would probably not exist. I just want to say how much I appreciate all that you and Cristelle do to keep this site so interesting and worthwhile. I look forward to being part of this site for many years to come.

Christmas for me has been busy but I think we are in the home stretch and now all that remains is getting ready for the big Christmas supper. Not to hijack this thread but what are other people planning for Christmas meals? For us, it is lots of turkey being devoured by lots of hungry family. Usually, the family wins but hope for the turkeys springs eternal.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all.

Alex

I've a larger family, so we usually have turkey and ham; however, I think we'll just be having turkey this year as the one we bought is quite massive. I went shopping with my mom over the weekend. We were looking for one that was a little over 20 pounds, but all the ones we found we under that. ...except one, a 34-pounder. I'm not entirely sure how we're going to cook it.

I enjoy Christmas shopping. I like buying a gift that's tailored to someone. But I always try to finish my shopping in November as I can't stand the malls in December.

My mom always bugs us kids for lists, too. For the last two years I've cheated and filled half of mine with Summer merch. I love getting gifts, but I find as I get older, it gets harder to come up with ideas.
