Hello folks,

I've found an interview from thetvaddict.com.
Here is the link: http://thetvaddict.com/2008/09/08/exclusive-spoilers-terminator-stars-thomas-dekker-and-summer-glau-talk-judgment-day/.

On this Question here:
Well at the very least I’m sure you’ve gotten to visit some cool places promoting the show?
Summer says: Germany.

What does this mean?
Has the cast already visited Germany or will they come to us to promote the show?
Does anyone know something about that?
Would be awesome if Summer comes to us- :)

She went to Hamburgh in Oct. 2005 with Nathan Fillion and Joss Whedon as part of the promotion for "Serenity".

They aired the movie, did a press talk, some interviews.
There's also been a Question&Answers a few days later.

You can see pictures in the gallery:

She's never been to Germany as part of the SCC promotion. And so far I haven't heard anything, but I'll be on the look out :)

I don't think that Summer was in Germany to promote the SCC yet because she is/was too busy with shooting the 2nd season and doing the US promotion. But maybe she'll do some promotion when the series starts on Premiere in October or when it starts in FreeTV on PRO7 in 2009. Anyway, if Summer should come to Germany to pomote the show, I hope that she'll wear again such a beautiful dress like at the Serenity premiere in Hamburg. According to my info, Summer borrowed it from her sister but she looked amazing in it.

The only SCC promotion which Summer did for Germany (and which I know about) was an interview with someone from Premiere several weeks ago. This interview (and many other interviews with members of the cast and the crew) will be shown in the show "Pemiere in Serie" on Premiere1 (21:40 o'clock) and on Premiere2 (22:40 o'clock) on October,26. But this interview happened on the set of the SCC and not in Germany.

@Cristelle: Is your signature based on a quote from Joss Whedons public letter/statement when "Angel" was canceled? I mean: "Two roads diverged in a wood, and I took the road less traveled by and they CANCELLED MY FRIKKIN' SHOW. I totally shoulda took the road that had all those people on it. Damn"

Its not really an interview, but i found an article on SPIEGEL online about TSCC and Summer. SPIEGEL online
Its about Summer's role in TSCC and how good she plays the terminator.
The headline: Summer is more beautiful and more intelligent than the classic Terminator Arnold Schwarzenegger. As cyborg girl Cameron she saves the world and makes the tv series worth seeing.

There are some quotes from Summer that tell how she prepared for the role and something like that. Nothing really new , but maybe interesting for the german people here, or the ones who understand german.

SPIEGEL is a really good magazine , so i think it tells a lot about the very good quality of the show and Summers awesome performance.

I have translated the article into english.
Its not really the best english and i will try to fix the parts which are not so good, but for now i hope that at least you can understand a littlebit from the article.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
How to steel Sarah Connor the show.

Arnold Schwarzenegger was the classic Terminator, but Summer Glau is not only more cool. She is also more intelligent
and more beautiful. As Cyborg girl Cameron she saves the world and makes the TV-show worth watching.

Arnold Schwarzenegger ("I'll be back!") is the original Terminator. Robert Patrick - the man from the second movie who can transform into liquid metal - was the creepiest.
But Summer Glau is the most bewichting ones from all Hollywood terminators, in which the 27 years old texas girl lines up with her Role as Cameron in the series "Terminator the Sarah Connor Chronicles"(to see on Premiere).

If you see Summer Glau you don't think necessarily of a tough cyborg.
Instead of the Amazon body of Kristanna Loken - who plays the hard terminatrix in Terminator 3 and serve in her tight leader outfit some domina phantasies - Glau has the graceful body and the beauty of a ballerina.

Indeed she was the oldest from 3 daughters of an constructor and a teacher.
She was a professional ballett dancer til the age of 19 and maybe its irony that after an accident which quits her career she started her new acting one in Joss Whedons Space-Western "Firefly" as a Kung-Fu fighter.

Now she continues her cinematic fighting career as terminatrix Cameron.
"Who had thought that" she says in an interview and laughes.
"Even so i has grown up as a ballet dancer and in the real life I'm a very bad girl :)."

Secret star of the show.

In the spin-off series of the successfully movie series she wipes her bad terminator colleagues with a beautines out.
That unerlines effectively her mysterious human site. Author Josh Friedman calls her prompt his Muse.
"I didn't know how the show could run without her."

Maybe the audience thinks the same. A lot of fans where sceptic when FOX decided to bring a series version of James Cameron's robo fable on tv. But suprisingly the concept is a clever tv adaption with sparing effects who tells the story about Sarah Connor.

We remember at the end of Terminator 2 (1991) the mother of the resistance fighter Sarah Connor has killed the liquid metal terminator T-1000, but protector Arnold was also dead. Sarah and her son where once again unprotected .

In the disappointing third movie Sarah was just declared as dead.
The series now tells the story between the 2 movies (*) and starts 1998 with John (Thomas Dekker who quit his role as Zach in "Heroes" for terminator) as a 15 years old teenager who lives with his mother in the underground and flees from Terminators and the government in the same way.

John's hateful daily routine, which is characterized by house arrest for security resons and the constantly moving from one place to another, receives a ray of hope with Cameron his new classmate.
Finally it turns out that she is a terminatrix. Sarah's mistrust against cyborgs which evolves to a nervous radar, accept Cameron's help only unwillingly. But finally its the robot who saves both with a time travel in the year 2007.

" I'm working very consciously on my movements"

Summer Glau who didn't see the movie franchise when she were casted for the series - "I didn't realize it, I always thought that this were just action movies" - plays her character purposely not as the former ones from the movies. "She is different than the others bevor her. She is more human. She is the most advanced
modell till now and that makes her more complicated."

Obviously her T-modell is programmed for the highest possible learning ability. With big child's eyes she tries to get everything that the humanity gives her. One of the highlights of the show is the mysterious question, how close she can come to human feelings. At least from the outside everything bounce of from her.
" I'm working very consciously on my movements" says Glau. " A robot doesn't cross his legs, he doesn't cross his arms,he doesn't put his hair out of his face if the wind blows."
For purpose she learned to wink more slowly

Glau plays the Cyborg with such a suggestive coolness, that she becomes prompt the star of the series, which was aired in january in the USA. Bad luck for titular character Lena Headey, who was last seen as spartaqueen in "300". She plays Sarah Connor as an underground fighter who is at the end of an identity loss.
But it was Summer Glau who brings the fans to a storm of cheers at the Comic-Con this year.

Maybe this role opens the american girl - who loves to cook Mexican foot and to dance at the end of her long day of shooting - some doors in hollywood. Maybe soon - FOX has to fight after a good first season with low ratings in the second one. Even if rumors about the death of the show are not confirmed by FOX yet.
The studio hopes that the new Terminator movie will help the show.

Summer Glau who is in talk with Joss Whedon about a short movie right now has some ideas for sure. " I would really like to play in a western or history movie.

(*)annotation from me. Maybe SPIEGEL did not know that the series doesn't care about the 3 movie.
