I have the cash for the ticket but still need to figure out a way to make 350Euro 'till April so I can actually afford to go... Think I'll take the risk and buy ticket now. Better lose 80 punds than waste the chance to meet Summer lol

Hi all, I recently found out she was coming to the UK by accident. Checked out to see if it was true and I am certain it is. I joined the Starfury message boards and everything is genuine. There is a large community there that have been to other Starfury events plus there is a Youtube page with videos, one of which had Summer attending. Starfury events have been going for years but not being a major sci-fi nut didn't know they existed until now.

I couldn't pass up the opportunity so have already booked my Gold ticket and hotel accommodation. To answer Titanhawk's question, the Gold ticket entitles you entry to the meet & greet on the Friday where you can have a relaxed chat and drink with the guests. Plus you get priority seating during the event and are first up for autograph and photo sessions, so you don't have to wait long in the queue. There is however a limited number of these tickets, so if you want to go best to snap them up while you can. I know I couldn't live with myself if I thought about going, dithered for a few days then decided to go, only to find that the Gold tickets were sold out.

Thank you for the information i was about to mail the host of the event to get info on what's the difference in tickets but now I know. Unfortunately it looks like I won't be going so I hope you get some good pictures to share with us and have fun there!

Thanks for the warm welcome Mesada. I am really looking forward to T1, I have never been to a con before so it will all be new to me. They have a good line up of guests so far with the obvious highlight being Summer. I plan to get a few formal photos with her as well as autographs. Unfortunately no photos are allowed in the meet & greet, however as Seanharry the con organiser said, it would ruin the atmosphere if guests were having to pose for photos all the time during the evening instead of relaxing and having fun, they would soon get bored of it. It's a fair point.

Shame that you can't attend. I myself live in the south east of england so will have to travel up to Birmingham for the event, but I'm sure it will be worth it.

I have no doubt it will be worth it! I live in eastern europe but If i had the cash I'd go in a heartbeat. Still hoping I could scrub some cash untill april. Not to mention 24th is my birthday so I'll pretty much do anything I can to get to that convention! (Within legal limits ofcourse lol)
