According to the commentary on the Terminator DVD they originally wanted O.J. Simpson as the terminator, but the studio thought nobody would believe O. J. as a ruthless killer . Lance was second choice as he could have blended in easily (but I guess the film would have turned out very differently and possibly not generated the whole Terminator franchise). One thing about Arnold – he definitely doesn’t blend in, but I doubt we would have had the franchise without him.

Lance Henriksen has one movie trivia claim to fame… he is the only actor to have been killed by all of the big three monsters/villains of the Sci-Fi world:
1. By a terminator in The Terminator.
2. An Alien in Aliens
3. A Predator in Alien vs. Predator.

O.J. not believable as a ruthless killer?

IMO Lance is way creepier than Arnie which is why He'd work for the DVD movie were it to go beyond "just an idea."

I honestly want to see him in a Terminator movie. Maybe the TSCC Direct-to-DVD should the movie actually come out? Lance would be a great T-1000, he reminds me a bit of Robert Patrick.

I still remember back when I was in high school and the O.J. Simpson trial was going on. Teachers were making a big deal out of it and even let us watch the news break on the tv when he was found not guilty.

All the kids went running down the halls yelling "THE JUICE IS LOOSE!!" ....

These guys ain't screwin' around. Looks like they caught wind of this whole dvd movie thing as well. I wonder if there should be a campainge to "Get Summer in that movie".

I can not see any Terminator fan wanting TSCC back without Summer – if we had seen more of Cameron throughout season 2 (especially just after it was moved to Friday night) I think we would all be looking forward to season 3 starting this autumn, instead of fighting for it to come back.

I mean, I love his vision of the show but I thought and I think that he should have named it simply "The Connor Chronicles" and not "The Sarah Connor Chronicles". In this way he would have been able to move more freely between the characters without need to getting focused with whom given the name to the series. IMHO, obviously.

That is so true, it's a cast iron fact; more Cameron in season 2 would have equalled season 3. Give the viewers what they want, it's not rocket science.

I've read it in so many different places that viewers were turned off by the complex un-related episode content; such as the three dots, the Riley love interest, etc, plus Josh’s obsession with the series being Sarah centric. It should have been about the family John, Sarah, and Cameron.

The fact that there was less Cameron in season 2 was the single biggest contributing factor to the series being cancelled, by far.

I just hope that if there is a dvd movie, they give us plenty of Cameron (played by Summer, of course).

I also really hope that the characters are nice to her this time around; I got so fed up with everybody being horrible to her, especially Sarah.

Plus John needs to leave his anti-cyborg prejudice behind him and accept that Cameron is his future.
