Episode discussion for the upcoming episode Goggles and Hicks of The Cape.

I don't know why, but I just wasn't feeling this episode... Something about it seemed off. It had good moments, and there were things that I enjoyed, but overall, it was kind of... eh.

The church scene was terrible. The interaction between The Cape and Scales... God. It was just awful.

I enjoyed Orwell's part. For the second consecutive episode she was useful and involved in the story. I liked the background information we learned. I also lol'd at her talking about what she'd do if she took a day off. That was cute.

Fanboy gushing: Is it me or has Orwell been completely adorable in the last couple episodes? I don't know what it is... She does these little things that make me smile. She's been super adorable.

The only redeeming feature of this episode was Summer’s performance. Apart from Summer the only other characters who have consistently put in good performances in the last few episodes are James Frain (Chess) and Keith David (Max Malini) – neither had much screen time this week.



For me the worst scene was the dinner at the end – the assassin’s tough guy voice kept slipping (not sure if it was deliberate) especially as he took the flash drive off. Looking at Summer’s reaction I’m sure she was about to crack-up laughing.


Do you think the part about her farther taking her for dancing lessons ties in with the ballet dancer music box Chess had in a previous episode?

I'd imagine so. Seems like it'd be too much of a coincidence, especially since he was looking for his daughter in that episode.


Completely agree. Summer definitely possesses far too much cuteness! But there's been something about her in the last couple episodes... I can't put my finger on it, but she's been extra adorable.

All in all it was a good episode. But a few pieces always seem not to fit. For example some dialogs or sentences are strange and doesn't fit to the character. I don't know what it was exactly but Vince said something to Hicks at the end which doesn't fit his character, in my opinion. Anyway i liked the episode and hope that the next 4 will be at least as great as this one.

For the first time I actually liked the storyline of Vince's family in this episode
