I liked this episode too, and it featured Summer more so than the Pilot. They had a nice flashback to Faraday's family life and have developed his wife and son well so far. The only question I have about the episode is, "How the heck did Cain get down to the street level so fast?" :) It wasn't a glaring problem but it stood out a bit.

I had to laugh, though, when Orwell was fighting Cain because I kept thinking, "She could get up off the floor and totally wipe you up." I kept waiting for Terminator background music to cue, lol, but she handled herself quite well.

The online reviews I read yesterday mentioned that Keith David stole the show for both episodes. I'd have to agree. He's a wonderful presence.

But just to focus on Summer, I'm sure there's a ton of people out there who don't know much about her who are now googling her name, and perhaps finding their way to this website. She looked stunning and if I had no idea who she was, I would be absolutely more than interested. She just has this aura about her that's a bit intriguing. I haven't been able to pinpoint it, but I think it's a blend of her mannerisms, expressions, the way she pronounces words, and just the fact that she doesn't look like anyone other than herself. There's tons of actors and actresses that slightly resemble someone else, but not her. She really has a one of a kind appearance that's quite stirring.

I am shocked by the naivety of American comics. after a good brick-busting action in the first series, second series of the abundance of mucus, saliva, slightly spoils the pleasure. All the moments where there is Summer Glau looking with mouth open and happy child.

With the likelihood of more undercover type missions Summer should get the chance for some interesting outfits – not that she doesn’t look fantastic in jeans, boots and jacket as in TSCC.

With all the question marks over the motives of characters like Orwell we should get some interesting episodes if they delve into her back-story and not just a series of villain of the week episodes.

Dave.
