The new episode did very little to plug up all the plot holes.

In fact, Bennett's death made no sense with this new episode. Boyd kept Topher around because Topher was smart enough to build the tech Boyd wanted but Bennett was supposed to be at least as smart as Topher. It didn't make sense for Boyd to kill such an important asset.

yeah and here's another thing that doesn't make any sense... Boyd was also a doll? wtf? so that's supposed to get us interested in who the REAL Rossum is? okay here's a twist for ya

Not really a spoiler, but consider this possibilty. Okay what if... the big reveal was that (considering she IS the producer of the show) ECHO WAS ROSSUM ALL ALONG? and You hear the someone at the very end say "...River?" and there's Our Girl Summer asking the now famous question... "Did I fall alseep?"

how's that for a twist?

edit: I know they wouldn't actually do that, but could You imagine if they did?

Boyd was not a doll. The device Topher used can turn regular people into dolls. It's what causes the thoughtpocalypse we see in Epitaph One and Two.

Just watched the episode: WOAH!

It was pretty mind blowing.. I've to rewatch it a second time!

I agree, some of the "solutions" taken are arguable; for example the "explanation" provided for Bennett's assassionation, I'd preferred was Claire's free will moved by her hate towards Topher, not a command given to her by Boyd... :roll:

And why? Bennett was one of the Rossum top one...

And Boyd motivation? He was spectaculary insane? Just it?

IMHO, the last minute decision on turning Boyd the big bad has been a mistake.

i watched this episode yesterday, and i'm still shoked :cry:

edit : I think the sadest is that it comes while Benett is finally happy and smiling thinking she's the remarquable one for Topher.

i'm waiting for all episodes in Italian.. i willn't see another series in the original language...
after Avatar, gamer, The book of Eli... i will wait it in italian.

I don’t think Boyd was a doll – Topher just used his remote tech to ‘wipe’ Boyd and put him in a doll state. The frightening thing about Topher invention was it would work on anybody – not just people who had had the implants put in to allow them to be programmed.

The revelation of that technology came out in Summer's episodes. It's quite understandable why it might have been missed.
