I agree she's an exceptional actress who can drive emotion as any other can.
In particular when she's crying I can't help but crying too.

Nyrki - thank you so much. A confession for me is that Summer is one of the few actresses that can make me cry when she is crying and in other very sad scenes. I have trouble watching the last 10 minutes of Born to Run at the end of Season 2 because of the incredible sacrifice she makes. Then to see her lifeless body in repose, that in itself is like a work of art. At that point, I lose it altogether.

I can't explain my reaction. You are right. She sends out a very strong emotional force.

It can't be explained but it's understandable. I was very sad at the end of BTR.
This feeling made me realize how much emotion she could draw from a character who isn't supposed to.

I saw Summer first in TSCC and that was an extraordinary experience. To see her acting and the progress of Camerons programm... More and more you begin to think: " Could she feel? Has she emotions, especially for John?" Later in the show i decide for me that she has emotions, yes.
When i see TSCC again and again i concentrate on her body language... first of all her eyes. Summer told the viewer incredible much in this way. So she said one day this is the way of a dancer - to let you know what you think or how you feel only with your movements.
So many scenes in TSCC where you can switch off audio and just "feel" the scene... Derek see Cameron dancing at home; John reactivate Cameron after she tried to kill him; the whole episode "Blackout" (of course you had to know those before) and these are only a few wonderful examples.

Later when i view Firefly and Serenity, but mostly in Firefly i remarked that her body language speaks volumes.
The "trigger" of mine... When she scrambled out of this box Malcolm opened... Summers acting in the scene, her face, her eyes... I view it so often now and this ever bring tears in my eyes.
My other favourite of her - all Summer´s acting is beyond compare, but these two scenes truly make one's presence felt - is the scene she and Simon are in the outer space, she looks to the stars and...smiles with this intense facial expression...
Later i read and see more about Summer online - it seems that she often not really realizes how unique her acting is. Her kindness, humility, shyness and her whole appearance in public is attracting and flatters her.
I do not know her private or how she is in her private life, but i experience her this way. I hope she will act in many, many roles to evoke this strong emotions to the viewers. :P

Well, I first got to know about Summer when I watched TSCC when it first aired in the Fall of 2007. I was almost 18 by then and really enjoyed the Terminator movies with Arnold Schwarzenegger. When I heard about this TV show, I knew that I would enjoy it. After a few episodes, I became more fond of Summer and her performance as Cameron the terminator girl. After TSCC went off the air, I sort of lost interest in her. But that all changed when Summer made an appearance in Chuck, and from that point on I decided to try to keep up with any roles that she plays.

And that is the story of how I came to admire Miss Summer Glau.
