Yeah sure. I'm still getting used to the idea you'll be there too :) But hey it would be nice to meet you and this way we have double chance to ask some of the questions from the topic :)

I'll get my own, thank you very much. :D

I'm hoping I can make it out to Los Angeles for the Firefly / Serenity convention in November...not looking good at the moment. My "Summer Fund" got drained over Christmas.

The Gold ticket costs $379 for the entire weekend and includes autographs from ALL attending guests, normally $25-$35 each, and attendance to a few other functions that are not included in the normal ticket price of around $35/day. Their website is currently only selling the Gold tickets.

Other costs depend on how I will get there. I am 2,050 miles from Los Angeles. Since I drive a truck, it's possible that I can get a run to within 30 miles of LA and then most likely rent a car and get a room. Other options are to fly or get time off to drive out there and make a vacation out of it. Luckily, I have several months. I don't know yet... :(

For the last convention, Creation Entertainment was auctioning on eBay, 5 Backstage passes that started at $500 each and may have topped $800 if I remember correctly. The problem here is that it's in ADDITION to a Gold Ticket...not available with the regular day passes. I would love to be able have the money for that. :D

I would ask her to reflect on her whole life dancing, her whole life with her family and friends, her whole life acting. Then have her take whatever image she sees in her head and convey it on a piece of paper..... then autograph it :D

edit: I just realized that this was the 1000 post for the "Summer" forum. lol so random.
