The almanac idea does sound interesting.

While the gardening idea was good, it sort of limited who could participate. The great thing about the cookbook is everyone could participate. In order to eat, you have to be able to cook, so everyone can cook at least one meal, even if it's simple. But gardening is a more technical hobby, and unless you know something about it, you wouldn't be able to participate.

This almanac idea sounds like something that everyone could take part in. That said, I think we should be careful of what Summer stuff we include. For example: The SG Wiki made a Summer calendar and mailed it to her. It was basically 12 collages of Summer. To me, that's a little weird. What's she going to do with that? She's not going to hang it up. She's not a narcissist. lol Including stuff from conventions when fans met her could be cool, she might like that. But facts about her, maybe not.

I would also like to include some gardening stuff. Maybe when it is good to seed certain plants. I would like to give her something that is useful and personal. I think it would also be great to mention important moments in her acting career / life. When there is a specific date you write something like ...10 years ago, cast in Terminator...

If we have a good mixture of useful stuff and something personal that would be great.

That of course was only an example. I know that it was not 10 years ago.

Hey guys I am new here. I am from Serbia and I am a big fan of Summer. I just registered a couple of days ago, and I couldn't help not to see this topic which is really important. I read the whole topic of course and I really liked the idea with putting pictures of our cities in that tour guide of our cities. The problem is I am from Serbia so when you talk about that idea....do you mean pictures of cities from USA or can they be from the rest of the world?
I am asking this because if you, for example put some pictures that I upload,(if we even make that album or whatever you call it) it would be like..... I mean why would she want to come to Serbia, those pictures would be useless then. But in case she does then it is a whole different and a better story.
I hope you understand what I mean.
Please reply so that I know.

I'm begining to like this idea too.

If I recall, part of Mammoth was filmed somewhere in Europe, and I remember Summer saying she had a great time there with the actor who played Squirrelly. So I agree with We'll See, your pictures wouldn't be useless. I think pictures of our hometowns is sort of a neat idea.

I am glad you think so, but all those pictures and a text (below those pictures) about them should be like a guide for travelling all around the world. At least that is my opinion.

And if we make that videos and put them on a CD we could add in that whole video a song like "Can't smile without you" by Barry Manilow or something like that.....
