Summer was there for the first 3 years. Hopefully, she'll make it 4.

If she has time i think she will be there.
It's still some time untill the con starts, so maybe she will be announced later.
On Fedcon Michael Hogan was announced 3 weeks before the con starts, so there is still hope.

The line up is looking good already. Just missing Summer ofc but I think there's a good chance she'll attend. It would be even better to have Jewel there as well!

In any case I will be unable to go due to uncertainties in my employment. I had even thought of doing the other double con 2 weeks before as well but looks like it will be none.

They have a habit of announcing last-minute guest additions...with my luck, they'll drive me crazy by waiting until the last two weeks before announcing her.

Just 5 more days until I'm able to check for flights with southwest airlines. They open up reservations in blocks, the next being on June 23, opening reservations from Nov 1 to January 15. A couple other airlines are looking good on pricing around $297 for a round trip ticket. I prefer Southwest, though.

I just checked the flights from Nashville to Los Angeles for Southwest Airlines and as expected, the fares are cheaper, plus the hotel is cheaper than the Creation rate if I book it though Southwest.

The hotel is $107/night

I just booked the flight to L.A. I may wait for a couple more paychecks before I get the hotel.

Anyone else still deciding whether or not to go?

The cheapest rate for the hotel now is $112/night. I wouldn't mind sharing the room.

The Star Trek event that was planned to run alongside Firefly/Serenity on the same weekend has been canceled. They couldn't get a contract on any invited guests. They're planning something else, but have not yet mentioned what that is. With my luck, it'll probably be Twilight.

I guess this is what happens when they get a lot of guests to show in Las Vegas. No one is left.
