And i believe that Summer believe in the same or similar :oops:

Or maybe she simply likes her current "supporting actress" status, who knows? ;)

I mean, Summer seems to be a "simple" person, maybe she simply doesn't have the ambition to becomes a diva (guys, we have to thank her mummy if she takes the role of Cameron! :) ). ;)

And hey, for me it's ok. Really! I'm happy if she's happy, plain and simple. ;)
We can suggest her, we can suppose what it's the best role for her, but at the end it's only up to her, it's her life and the final decision it's her. ;)

There are different levels of fame and when you look at the lives of those who become massive, international stars you have to ask yourself is that the life you want? Take Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie, Will Smith, Beyonce, Mariah Carey, Britney Spears and Michael Jackson. These people's lives are so far removed from normality that your every move is captured, you are hounded by photographers everywhere you go and every part of your life is scrutinized, and that you are effectively cut-off from the rest of the world because of your fame.

Michael Jackson and Britney especially, just look how messed up their lives had/have become. Once you become that famous there really is no going back. I am not saying that Summer would end up like them but your celebrity status becomes your currency and everybody wants a piece of you (she is certainly more grounded than many celebs). I honestly can't say what Summer wants as I don't know but I would guess that she would prefer not to loose what little privacy she has, I know I would prefer that. Obviously I want her to be sucessful in her career, but not at the expense of her privacy and sanity.

We're Not her agents, we're not her PR we don't know what's going on inside her head or agents either. I;m not trying to flame and I'm not tryiong to argue. The point is we don't knnow what she wants.

Hi All,
This is my first post, but I’ve been following the forum over the last few months. Call it a sanctuary after TSCC was cancelled. Anyway being impressed with your knowledge on Summer matters I have a question for you;
The Black Swan is a new film where a veteran ballerina competes against a rival dancer as the dancers approach a big performance, and to add a supernatural flavour to the mix this rival may or may not be a figment of the dancer's imagination. So it’s a kind of supernatural thriller. Anyway apparently the part called for two dark-haired petit actresses who could dance ballet; and Natalie Portman and Mila Kunis were duly cast as the dancers.
My question is simple, why isn’t our girl involved in this film? I’m guessing that she turned it down maybe because of her previous dancing injury, because the only other answer “that they didn’t consider her” doesn’t make any sense.

Well, as for the injury, she is no longer able to wear pointe shoes, which based on very limited dancing knowledge means that she wouldn't be able to do things which are very technically demanding in ballet. Don't know much about the movie and other stuff... but it seems like the actress are there for the acting and because they are famous and not for actual dancing. Any scenes of very technical, difficult dancing would likely be done by real dancers who would serve as a sort of stunt double. That's just my guess.

i don't know, if she was considered, all i can think is that Summer strikes me as the sort of person who would want to give something her all, and if she felt she couldn't do that for any reason she wouldn't, especially if it came to something she was very passionate about like her dancing, i could be wrong.
