I think it would be better for her if she had a role in Desperate Housewives rather than Dollhouse. Nobody watches Dollhouse anyways and it's practically cancelled already.

I have to say I don't like Desperate Housewives at all but a few appearances should bring more exposure for Summer.

I'm really hoping for a third solution.

I'm still hoping that Summer could end in a brand new beautiful TV show with a leading role...

I'd rather see her on a show I actually respect. I really don't see any negative impact on her career to be making an appearance on Dollhouse whether it's hugely popular or not.

I'd hate to see her be on just any show just because it's popular and will get her more exposure .. it's more about picking small roles in things she might enjoy, as well as interesting and good parts for any major or ongoing roles.

It's hard to know if she's a position to be completely picky about what roles she takes at this point in her career though. At some point she just needs to find work too I guess.

desperate housewives is a show ive never watched and would probably only watch it if Summer made an appearnece just in support of her lol, its good to see her different roles but as ive said it would be great to Summer have a role she would find a challenge and enjoy playing, i hope she finds that for us and for her.

I hope Summer doesn’t end up in Desperate Housewives – it’s a show that’s definitely living off its past glories. I can not imagine that any role in DH would be that challenging for Summer.

How about something completely unexpected – like Dexter’s next adversary? Summer could do an excellent job of playing the innocent normal woman who nobody could possibly suspect and convincingly switch to the cold killer mode in the blink of an eye.

As for Dollhouse if Summer does appear in a recurring role it think its most likely to be as one of the villains - Joss did say he liked to cast people in roles they hadn’t played before or weren’t known for playing.

Of all the things talked about in this thread though my first choice would be a film – maybe a Western. Joss Whedon does have an interest in that subject – he talked about how a book on the battle of Gettysburg (The Killer Angels I think) was partly the inspiration for Firefly so who knows what Summer and Joss’s secrete project is if it isn’t The Serving Girl….

Well Summer did mention that she want to play in western,because she want to ride a
horse .(but so far she didn`t have a chance to ride one )

The secret project we heard about last year, to my knowledge, had nothing to do with Joss and I've heard of no secret projects this year.
