DH is an "in-house-FOX" show, TSCC was a WB-house show.

I have already seen the first season of Dollhouse and it does take a while to get going. The first few episodes feel very generic and certainly didn't feel like a Joss Whedon show. Once they started to develop the story and characters it got better, it certainly picked up and ends well.

I think Dollhouse has a lot of scope with what they can do with it and only time will tell if it grows into a big hit. Remember Buffy really didn't become massive until the second and third season once it established itself.

I would be interested in who they will bring in for the second season, it's a well known fact that Joss likes to use actors he has worked with before. It is a possibility that Summer could be in Dollhouse in the future as she loves working with Joss.

I'm not sure about mainstream will but certainly studio will. Josh Friedman deliberately went against Fox in season 2 to give more story about Sarah in lets say slower episodes in the middle of the season. But if this is gonne help Joss? Lets wait and see. I guess it helps that Dollhouse is cheaper. And Summer in season 2 would be much appreciated!

I don't know, as I already wrote around the forum, I'll prefer to see her in a main role character (a TV show/film specially written for her will be perfect) rather than again as a supporting actress (don't forget that Eliza is the main character and also a producer of the show).

Well yes that would of course be preferable but sometimes you need to take what you can get. I don't think its an easy time to get new roles and Summer just likes to work with Joss. I'm sure Summer would like a lead role as well but I think she would agree to Dollhouse if she were offered a supporting role.

Well, I think that T:TSCC has contributed a lot to (re)launch her, I think that someone interested to hire her for a lead character exists (at least for a TV show).

Taking a secondary role in Dollhouse, IMHO, will be like taking a 2nd choice.

EDIT: I mean, when Joss hired her for the River's role in Firefly, she was nobody. Obviously she had a supporting role, but now she has a name, ok she isn't Megan Fox nor Angelina Jolie, but I think that she can be little more selective.
