just watched Gaslight.
[Reveal] Spoiler:
the series is getting very interesting now. the regular alphas are developing their skills and abilities more. Nina is on the team again. i hope she stays this time. she is useful at times though her pushing being so much like a drug to her it's going to be interesting how she develops her ability. and she can pull now too. very interesting. she reminds me very much of charles xavier or professor x as he is better known from the X-Men.

Gary mentioned Skylar, which i already anticipated since i know which episodes Summer is going to be in.

next week we get to see the lovely and beautiful Summer as Skylar!! i am really looking forward to seeing Alphaville.

Just saw it. Great show. When do we get to see Skylar again?

Parish is an idiot. Not only did he get between a mother and her daughter, Skyler [Summer]
has a tell and he missed it. I would make book on the fact she lit him up with her homemade Taser/Tesla and escaped making him an enemy.

I could see her joining him and possibly double-crossing him. How else could they bring her back for the final two episodes if she's not tied to Parish in some way?

I thought Summer was fantastic. I know it shouldn't, but it always amazes me at how she expresses herself. A perfect example is when she says, "And an off switch." What she does with her face is perfect! :D

Alphas (Syfy)
1.72 million viewers/0.5

Alphas posted a big gain last week, and this week it posted an even bigger gain, holding onto its ratings score while picking up almost 400,000 more viewers for its most-watched episode since the season premiere. It was a good Monday for Syfy.

Liberated from Blastr. You don't suppose?

This season's been up and down for me, but I'm definitely excited for tonight's episode.

Although one thing that bugs me about this season is some of the alpha abilities. One thing I loved about season one was how they always tried to explain the abilities in a scientific way, but I don't see how they can explain some of these recent alphas. For example, the character that was introduced last week. How can someone record memories like a DVR and then pass those memories to other people? And according to the preview, tonight's episode has an alpha who locks Skylar in some sort of maze.

I don't really want X-Men-type mutants. I always liked the normal people with enhanced abilities angle. Hopefully they can explain these abilities in a plausible way.

After watching last nights’ episode I can’t wait for next week - as expected Summer was at her brilliant best :D

[Reveal] Spoiler: Favourite line
has to be....
When Skylar’s daughter asked her if she was a Terminator (Skylar [Summer] was having problems with the chip implanted in her arm).

I had a feeling they'd go the drug-route with Vince.

I think what I'm most interested to see in the finale is the confrontation between Skylar and Clay. It has to happen. Summer mentioned joining the team, and there's a promo of her and Bill together.Considering how things ended in her episode in season one, it'd be a pretty big plot hole if they didn't address it.

I felt like this season was a roller coaster; the quality was up and down. But this finale was excellent. I felt like they finally struck a good balance between keeping it fun while adding in serious drama. I loved Rosen's story, and Gary cracked me up. If Summer wasn't on this show, Gary would easily be my favourite character.

I loved Summer's expressions in the elevator, especially when Kat asked if anyone had gum. Did anyone else think some of her expressions were a little Cameron-esque? I loved it! :D And I also enjoyed her, "Yay team," line.

Now the ending:
[Reveal] Spoiler:
Excellent ending. I loved the standoff between Parish and Rosen, and I'm glad they didn't completely save the day. So often a show or movie will take you right to the brink, but then pull back before anything bad actually happens. I'm glad they had something bad happen. It shows that the show has guts.

I can't say I was thrilled that it ended with Skylar still on the ground. The only thing that kept my calm during the last couple minutes was the thought that they can't kill the entire team, otherwise how will they get renewed? Plus Summer's said she'd love to return, so...
